Firstly~ I have no idea why you would respond to a post
that is like 2 (TWO!!!) YEARS old. I happened to stumble
upon ur question because I was cleaning out my SPAM folder.
Second~ If you read the link, its all about fav banter...
nothing serious.
Third~ dont take it so serious: It was just a funny joke
Bob was making at the time, due to reason #4;
Fourth~ If you are a true Dead Head, then you would know
that the concert he was speaking at was one of the hottest
temps on record for 1972. It was in Oregon and reaching a scortching 100 degrees (Fahrenheit). And you would know
that there is a DVD around called "sunshine daydream"
documenting this show. And it is widely known that the
whole band was on a lot of LSD while they performed this
particular show.
Fifth~ I think 'The Sunstroke Serenader's" would be a
great name for a band, or project. There is no copywrite
that Im aware of from anyone; it was just a joking
statement. And there is no bad connotation connected to
it; its not some stupid American thing.

Actually, you really shouldn't use it. It is strictly English speaking related bullshiite and very derogatory, bigoted, hate speach; where the excessive use of hallucinogenic substances and various compounds thereof, combined with heat prostration (a condition marked by dizziness and nausea and weakness caused by depletion of body fluids and electrolytes - heat exhaustion
